Is there savings parity based on city?
In simple words, if someone earns 15L in Hyderabad, to save equivalent in Bangalore/Mumbai the person needs to have 18L package? I know this is true on some level so want to know if anyone has figured out the right ratio for any of the cities. US has good amount of data to understand equivalent salary for someone between say New York & Seattle. If you know of a calculator, do share!
I dont think the difference is that huge, your monthly expense will differ by 5-10k
That’s what I want to understand bcoz compensation differs a lot while expenditure not so much

You can get a room in a good gated community for 15-20k in Hyderabad, 20-25k in bangalore and 35-40k in mumbai for the same standard of living. Apart from rental expense, I don't think there's a very major difference in other expenses tbh, maybe just 5-10k here and there
