Hate my programming job

Hi all, I am a software engineer in a * company. But here the point is about myself, i don't like to code at all, infect i hate it now, but still i am doing it , because i have no choice, i can't leave it nor my family will be supportive about it. I know its the best work in today's time but not for me. I also got promoted and been on a good pay (acc to exp). But i just don't want to do this job at all. My brain is affecting to a large extent , i have been hiding it from my family. I have a lot of headaches and tension of work like how am i going to do this. Because of having no interest in this, i am not improving my knowledge in this field, which have created fear about switching jobs. I forgets concepts , but i am able to work , don't know how, but i am afraid how long will i survive. My life is ahead me, many responsibilities lying ahead, but also i dont want to do this. What should i do ? Please help me , i can see only one option and that the very last option.

I'm a software engineer with 2 years of experience. I feel like I don't have programming acumen and can't understand things like others. I really struggle at my job and has to give extra time even weekend to perform at my job. I don't understand big codebase, integration services. I feel like quitting this job and do something else but can't gather enough courage as job is paying well and paying my education loan also. Please suggest what should I do? How can I become better at my job and do well without feeling humiliation daily

I am a senior manager in a software company, in my 40s , in the cloud operations domain. I have no post grad ,no certs , and playing a people leader role, no technical knowledge (i am technically inclined but have not made learning tech my priority), I feel like I am not employable if I get fired. I feel like I need to do something to get employable, what can I do?

After 5 years of working as a SAP functional consultant, it sometimes feels as if we are lacking behind in terms of compensation as compared to newer technologies like data analytics, data engineering, etc. Is it worth switching to such emerging technologies like analytics, big data etc after working in SAP for 5 years?

I have been battling depression from childhood when I didn't even know it was called that. I am trying to switch jobs, I got 1-2 offers as well but I am not happy at all. I stay at home with my parents and work currently. I fear moving to a new place for a new job all alone would be very hazardous for my depression maybe. I tried therapy multiple times, didn't work, tried yoga, reading books, meditation, yet nothing seems to work. I double doubt on myself working in the IT field as well and think I don't wanna do this, i don't know whether it's cos of my depression or me actually hating the field cos I felt bad during my college days as well in anything i did. I think of offing myself to attain peace and come out of my head from all the overthinking all the time but I understand i can't cos I have to stay well for my mom and dad who love me the most Anyone has any solutions (maybe proven ones) to this matter? I.

I hate working 9 to 5. I simply hate it. I loathe it. I worked so hard all my effing life to get here and I hate it. I learnt DP and what not. It’s been 1.5 years since I started working full time as a software engineer and it just keeps getting worse. I make upwards of 15 lpa. It’s not that I have a bad work environment, it’s great. It’s just that I feel absolutely rotten working a 9 to 5 as a software engineer. Ideally, I would like to own a small business of my own. Despite watching hours of content on how to do that, I haven’t been able to come up with anything that seems like it’s gonna work, you know… Thinking of doing an MBA but that’s BS too, right? It feels like very soon I’m just gonna quit and be broke. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It feels like my life is over at 23. Kill me now. My question to you is first, am I alone?, second, can I help you in your business in any possible way?, third, should I do an MBA?

Hello all, I'm a software engineer at one of the service based companies and I graduated last yr. Though I always knew software engineering isn't for me, I still gave it a try hoping my perspective would change when I enter the industry. Bummer! I hate it even more What I have realised is I don't like to code or spend all day finding a solution to an error. Not to say I don't like problem solving but I simply don't like the problem solving that is required for a great software engineer. I have been a content writer in the past and enjoyed it. I also helped a small digital marketing agency launch a campaign for a product. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of coming up with ideas that suit the tone of the brand, writing copies and much more. I'm thinking of switching to a marketing role or anything that aligns with what I have mentioned above. My question to you are: 1) Is it even possible to switch without an MBA? 2) If so, What should be my approach to applying to jobs? (Kindly tell me the specific and not just -' Make a stellar resume and apply ' kind of a vague answer) 3) What other roles can I look into?

I am a PM at an edtech startup. The company is not doing well and my boss is not a good leader. Although company has a runway of 2 years. For the past 3 months I have been doing program management. No product management related work at all. No one appreciates you here. It's mentally challenging to work here. No road map for myself. No appraisal. I'm just going on the job for salary. For the past week, I have been thinking about quitting and taking a break. Then look for a job. I know the market is tough but I have runway for 4-5 months. I have a total of 3 years of Product experience. What should you guys suggest. I really need your help here.

I am from a tier 3 college, going to graduate in 2024. With all these layoffs, recession scene going on I am completely stressed out. My college started pretty late, I am in third year within just 1 year of offline college and 1 year of online. Didn't really get time to learn and explore initially, I haven't done much development neither LeetCode, I feel like I am effed now. What and how should I start getting a grip on things? I have done basic HTML, CSS, know python and basics of JS plus Java, C and C++. I really want some guidance on how to proceed ahead with learning development, I really want a job and get out of my toxic household.
