ET Sam Altman Talk
The most cringe Q&A i have ever seen! Top tier investors and founders asking such dumb non relevant questions. We can defend as much as we want, but we Indians do have an inferiority complex when we interact with foreigners - in the end he called you hopeless, right?
Indian software engineers do development, not innovation or core software engineering. R&D is almost not existing in India.
Most of the MAANG India roles are glorified WITCH roles* 💁🏻♂️

Because how can we, when we cannot possibly change our work culture that is conducive to innovation. That would mean having to pay fair wages, stop micromanagement, level up our education methodologies, stop unnecessary power trips in workplaces, improve diversity(also improving diversity of ideas). We just want to go around speaking like we're larger than life and challenge anybody. Mahindra should focus on actually hiring quality talent, paying them fair wages and working on innovative ideas before just sitting front row and representing a country where talented folks might not always get the opportunity or platform to do things due to how pathetic our work culture is. Companies that nurture the right kind of talent have always been doing great things. Previous gen needs to put their ego aside and take some notes.
