How has your mental health improved with a shorter commute?

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a bit about how my life has changed since my commute time reduced to less than 30 minutes. I never realized how much of a toll my daily commute was taking on my mental health until it drastically shortened. Before the change, I used to spend nearly two hours each day in traffic, feeling frustrated and stressed before even reaching the office. By the time I got home, I was too exhausted to do much of anything. My evenings were just quick dinners and collapsing into bed, dreading the next day's meetings. Now that my commute is only 20 minutes, I feel like a different person. I use that time to sleep in a bit longer, which has made a world of difference. The biggest change has been in my stress levels. I no longer spend my mornings in a state of anxiety and worried about being late. The improvement in my mental health is noticeable. I’m happier, less irritable, and more productive at work. I even find that I’m more engaged and present in my interactions with others. Reducing my commute time has given me back so much more than just hours in my day – it’s given me a better quality of life. How about you all?
