My partner has just transitioned into a new career and I have been taking care of the expenses of the house. We both have been wanting to move abroad. I tried consultants like yaxis but I can’t get myself to trust them. I want to get a job in the UK and my partner will pursue a masters. How do I go about the same? At this point I am clueless as to how I could go about it. P. S. We are not married.

Hi, I am thinking to shift to US. Wanted to know if it is worth to go US leaving the parents in India. Also how much I will be able to save in next 15 years in US. Might come again to India. Profile: Age - 27 Designation - Product manager Exp - 2 years Also please tell what challenges one faces in US and whether I will be able to ask my parents to come to US once their retirement.

In short, I visited the US in 2018 for a exposure trip sponsored by the government as part of a startup competition I won with my team. Consequently, I now hold a valid B1/B2 visa until 2028. At times, I wonder how I could leverage this visa for my benefit. Currently, I have no engagements in the US but can visit friends there if I land there. I have a remote job with flexible hours, although I'm not sure if my company allows working from different time zones. However, I believe I could manage that somehow. Do you think it makes sense to go and stay there for some time to explore? I feel this could be beneficial in the long term. On the flip side, it's worth noting that this isn't necessary and may not be a wise financial choice. What do you guys think? What are your thoughts?

I am a 6.5 year of experience backend engineer currently employed with a US based company that doesn't send people to usa on L1 as far as I know. But I have to go to USA because my fiancee is moving abroad for her studies. I have a decent salary here. Hence, I don't see the need for further studies for myself for career growth. Nevertheless, I have applied to a few colleges there. But I also want to know if there is any way to move to USA through my job as I would really not want to break up due to long distance. Anyone here who has applied for us tourist visa. I got the appointment for next year 2025 in july the waiting time is very long. I watched some videos and people say join the telegram group, chrome extension etc or check daily on the portal also you can only reschedule your appointments 3 times. Also is it true that immigration department releases slots very often and you just have to find dates? Please let me know if you have any suggestions or anything that helped you to get the appointment early

However, the process seems daunting, especially with all the stories I've heard about how challenging it can be to get a visa, with many applications being rejected. I’d really appreciate any advice or insights on how to navigate this process or make this dream a reality.

My partner works at a product company that has a US HQ quite close to where I live and work. She is what you would call a critical resource of the company leading and driving multiple projects. She likes her role and while she will be relocating to US, wants to do everything to keep it in one way or another. Besides from the usual process of submitting resignation, how can she make effective use of the fact that she could potentially move here internally on an L1 visa or worst case keep connections warm and re-apply for a role here after relocating to US. Anything better than notice period and severing all ties. My perception of moving internally to US/Europe has been that its not only extremely difficult because companies here would prefer having an India cost center given its layoff/recession season in US but also due to the challenge of headcount requirements in the same business unit. Besides an L1 application costs about $15k. All of these factors make things trickier for her to keep her job in some form or the other. How should she make the most of this situation? Are there any other outcomes here that I am missing?
