Considering leaving my recent job for a higher-paying opportunity – thoughts?
In August, I joined a new organization following the closure of my previous one. Things are going exceptionally well – my manager is pleased with my performance, and I'm learning a great deal. Workload is manageable, and during a casual web browse, I discovered high-paying job openings in my field. Now, I'm contemplating whether pursuing interviews is the right move, given the rare opportunities. I've had one-year stints at two previous companies; I'm curious about the potential impact on my career. Appreciate your insights.

It isn’t necessary that you’d get shortlisted to all places that you apply. So what is stopping you from applying?
@ProfessionalCurser Frequent short stints definitely impact how reliable you’re seen by potential recruiters. You can always justify in an interview but will also be rejected at resume screening stage where you won’t have a chance to explain.
If you like your current team and manager, try getting a raise there itself. Have an honest discussion with your manager regarding the upside potential that you may have if you explore outside. You’ll be surprised how you can get things if you just ask.
If it doesn’t work then you can always apply outside. But never apply for a role and then use the offer letter to negotiate.

Stay. Learning will lead to good money in the future. If you’re happy with everything else, stay, upskill, then switch.
