How would you go about being a product consultant or a freelancer and getting clients? How would you price it? What insights would you offer?

Is anybody here doing freelancing as a Product Manager? If yes then how? where do you look for gigs and other stuffs. Do let us know the process in detail!

Hey folks, After 7 years as a Graphic Designer, I've spent the last 3 years in the realm of Product Design. I'm currently working as a freelancer, helping an established startup build a mobile application from scratch. What would you recommend as a fair monthly rate for someone with my background and expertise?

I’m a copywriter with 4 years of work experience with some fairly big brands. Revently a few people have been reaching out for copy projects. Some are willing to pay per project, and others look at a long term commitment. So far I’ve been letting them tell me what they are willing to pau and if it seems okay to me I take it up. I want to ask if there’s a better way to work around this? How do I know what’s a fair compensation to write a video script? And what do I quote when someone wants me to come on board their brand for long term projects? Please advise..

Does anyone know how to get freelance opportunities for product managers?

For more context, I’m an Android dev with 4yrs exp. I have not done freelancing before. I’m approached by a company where they need a feature implementation in existing project. I estimated efforts to be around 4-5 days and complexity is medium. How do you calculate hourly rate based on that? Experienced freelancers please also let me know any other key things I should always do or keep in mind.
