Do you feel the heat at night?

Hey Bangalore Folks. Do you also feel the heat during the night? I immensely feel the hot air sucking in especially during the nights. Don’t know if it is got to do with bedroom orientation in the house. P.S : New to Bangalore and thought you never needed AC here unlike a chennai or delhi.

If your room faces the sun in the evening, put on white/light curtains to keep it out. Use the fan! It's dry heat, so a cooler works too. Chennai/Delhi you can't survive without AC for 6 months a year. BLR is dry-hot only in March-April.

It really depends on the area you live in. Our apartment there faced a large empty site with trees and plants so we just needed a fan to circulate air (7th floor). But if your place has other buildings around, there won’t be much wind.

Bangalore heat with power cut is making me mad

I live in the top floor(terrace just above) of a apartment and the heat here is making me crazy. My bed is hot, my fan isn't giving enough air, it's hot air everywhere. I in general sweat a lot. When I go to sleep and wake up, my entire bed is wet from sweat and can't sleep for few hours because of the heat. For the entire day, I am shirtless and still can't take the heat. To make matters worse, electricity goes at anytime even in the middle of the day. That time, it feels like sweat won't stop at all. I don't have an AC here or power backup and the heat is fucking with my mental peace. Even the water from the filter is hot water🥲

Air Cooler or Air Conditioner ?

Summer in Bangalore seems to be bad and worse is predicted. Is it better to go for air cooler considering portability and cheaper or air conditioner considering effectiveness No one from any big electronic showrooms are advocating for air coolers since they are lesser cost maybe ? But if I ask Bing Co Pilot it’s suggesting Air cooler is better considering the usage is not widespread since temperature in Bangalore drops after July What do you guys think
