Why every stories say that we see or feel hallucinations or ghosts are during winters only ?
October is here....winter is coming!!! Seasonal affective Disorder (SAD)
Winters are darker. The brain hallucinates or imagines stuff when it's darker to fill in the blankness. Also, you get scared easily in the dark (probably because of evolutionary instincts).
I imagine that's why most effective horror scenes are set in winter. Cold, foggy, chilly, dark all of them will make you see ghosts.
