Difference in salary! 😔

What does "Tax deducted at source" mean? Cuz my company is deducting 200/- as professional tax already along with provident fund. Does anyone know or it's a fancy term for "pay us more tax"?

TDS is pro rata tax that is deducted from your salary every month. It is income tax which is different from Prof tax. Prof tax is 200 per month.

But, why my company hasn't deducted before but started from last month, may?

Salary increase? Earlier you would not be falling under tax bracket or you would have declared investments due to which tax liability was nil.
