Am in my mid 30s from south working in Mumbai for a PSU. I’ve been declined in matrimony websites owing to location and perception of PSU. Is this the new normal?

The problem is with the filters : Religion, region, Caste, subcaste, education, background, salary, working better half, etc.. Ye Saare filter lagne ke baad the guy has 10-50 options only but like a fool the guy/gals rejects the 50 of them in the hopium they get from insta that I do deserve better than this. Only to fall in the ditch and realize.
Dont fall for the numbers on matrimony website. These websites don't even make money and they boast of numbers as of every match was made through them. Some profiles are as old as 4-5 years.

Yeah exactly... people try to find a person with exact attributes and qualities that they expect in a partner. The question is does the person really exist in the real world..are the expectations too idealistic. Even if the person exists he/she would have lots of options what are the chances of them choosing me. I've seen people having idea that I deserve the best but if everyone thinks the same way then we have a stalemate.
I believe if people try to ward off expectations not necessary for a relationship and comprise and adjust happily for partner then everybody will be happy.
I am curious as to how the current marriage matchmaking dynamics will change in future
If you're looking for a housewife, contact relatives and spread the word about finding the girl, that girls will be far better than matrimony chicks...
Mumbai is tier-1 city with good oppertunities so it it is a bit suprising that you aren't getting match because of this. I have heard the same about people working in give jobs and posted in non tier-1 cities, towns and villages.
Maybe try to look for spouse who is working in PSU as well. I guess private job people want to marry someone who is in similar job.
Feel sorry for you. I have a cousin with a similar case. I pray you get hitched soon.
I find this hard to believe, unless you are a female with high expectations or you are a man.
