Do not depend on jobs that make you tell others what to do , such as PM
Because AI will do it better and faster than you sooner or later.
Looking at you consultants 👀

Are you talking about ai right now or agi? If you're talking about current ai, then no it will not replace these roles. Because these models are using past information to generate patterns.
Agi
In that case it's not just consultants. It'd be blue collar workers/labourers (robotics), engineers/devs, consultants, professionals, etc.
Then the problem statement will evolve into someone getting AI to do the mundane tasks while humans will focus on higher level problems
I feel AI is a bigger risk to junior folks in all domains than to seniors or experts.
Like if you are a PM for (I'm making this up) some fintech product targeted towards SMEs in pharmaceuticals.
I'm sure AI can throw out some nice KPIs to track but only based on expert judgement and trial and error you can decide on the final list to track.
What AI is able to achieve is that it eliminated the requirement of a junior PM or BA to come up with an initial list of KPIs from which we discussed/problem solved things to track in the end.
So instead of eliminating the role, it eliminated support roles. And even then it will not eliminate analysts and associates, it will just reduce the total number of folks required to get the job done.
But it will reduce the number of folks required to get the job done, that's pretty much the gist of it. Entry to mid level folks are under threat in the next 5-10 years.
Consultants PMs Chief of Staffs
Can add more such roles
