I agree that the salary Infosys gives us near minimum wage. But at least it’s a salary. They def have provided a job to many in india

Employees moonlight because you pay them pennies. You won't even survive in a metro city with 3.5LPA. Uber drivers make more than that because they don't pay taxes...... The tea stall owner outside makes more than the Infosys people driving the tea......

This happened to a lot of my friends in college. Fortunately, they joined another company for a slightly less CTC instead of waiting for these idiots to onboard them. IIRC Wipro is doing the same thing, 6.5 -> 3.5LPA after delayed onboarding.
