I would be asleep in few minutes so already saying my thinking. I am assuming you are talking about education (Because I have seen many posts on GV regarding the same). If not please ignore it. I agree top notch schools fees is crazy high. But why do you want to send your kid to the very best schools. You can choose average schools also right(It is okay to be average bro. don't make it FOMO of top schools). I studied in avg school. Not on the higher side and not on the lower side as well. The way I see it , I have done good until now cracked JEE first attempt got into PBC grabbed a good package(Definitely not bragging 😆). So I believe school does matter in your upbringing but what shapes you are majorly your friends and your parents in your case it would be you. So if you are compromising on the school part. You can still have control over other things. One is in direct control of you and for friends part just teach your kid good manners and some basic understanding which type of friend he should make and everything will work fine bro. I have seen kids from top notch schools but still are dumbasses because their parents think school is the only factor what shapes the childrens (pure bullshit again my perspective). This is just my POV that's how I got raised and i believe it was the best upbringing I could ever imagine. Just check the fees of the school in which you studied. In my case it has increased but it is bearable. Then there are schools like KV my hometown one is good couldn't say about other cities.
