So I asked the candidate "tell me about your experience"
Candidate: Professionally 10 years
In dog years - I’m 70
In donkey years - I’m at 50 - just dealing with the workload
In cat years - I think I used up 8 of my 9 lives
In parrot years - 200 - asking for the same stuff for years, repeating the same instructions, but nobody listens.
I think I am directly in my chicken years now
Burnout experience - I got in the first year of working
Life experience wise - EMI is the real matrix, I know Tamatar is at 100 Rs, Onions at 76 - organic at 120 - whatever that means, there are 16 types of milk I did not know of, my coffee consumption is directly linked to my sanity, I’ve learned that "quick call" means my whole day’s gone, I sometimes pray that internet dies right when the meeting starts, 10-minute delivery apps are great - except my salary doesn’t arrive that fast, my gym membership is just a donation now, "ASAP" actually means "whenever" in some orgs, my lunch break is just me staring at the fridge, replying to emails counts as my cardio, my to-do list looks the same every day, my kids went from crawling to coding in between my meetings, my kids thinks I work for Google because I’m always on my laptop, weekends with family is something I have heard of - but haven't experienced it recently and the last time I had "me time" was when I was single.
Sorry what was your question again??
