Industry level ideas

I've noticed a trend of being asked to create elaborate strategies, extensive market research and other creative collaterals when it comes to the assessment rounds. They usually take inputs and then reject them in the final round. How should we protect our ideas while simultaneously participating in the interview process? I recently had a company ask for a strategy, reject me and then immediately announce a part of what I had given as an input. It was a shitty company and that was what was expected from it anyway but what about other big companies who do the same?

Hi Folks, Are there Any sources where we can find the analysis on projects/Case studies from end-to-end for learning purposes to brainstorm? Ex- How to build a cross-sell strategy using historical data? Medium/YouTube/Linkedin - Are there particular people to follow for these?

I have been interviewing for analytics roles recently (7 YoE) and felt that my case study/ problem solving skills have become rusty and I am not able to think through with enough depth. I have 3.5yr of experience and have worked on multiple B2B and SaaS projects, but i haven't made a portfolio of my work. What type of portfolio should i build? How many case studies should i put? And should i include some of my official client work in portfolio? Seeking your valuable advice.

Understand approach how do they handle corner cases ( if they can identify) technical depth, also good way to test fundamentals. Which are the most exciting teams to join in India for the applied ML work? Not looking for the mushroom-like startups which have randomly appeared after the LLM hypecycle or FAANG/MAANG, but well established teams having well defined processes around data, experimentation, deployment at scale, good software engineering practices, a tinge of research + most importantly - having some actual impactful ML use-cases where ML is not a good-to-have but a must-have thing (unlike automating the customer support tickets or building a chatbot - no hard feelings for folks working on those though ☺️). Looking for teams related to sectors like e-commerce, ad-tech, healthcare, fin-tech etc. The team can also be an offshore counterpart of any Fortune 500 giant. Name of the teams along with a brief of some of the exciting problems that you are solving will be highly appreciated - if that is not violating the IPR of your company. 😛 PS: I am Data Scientist working on real world problems in healthcare since last 3-4 yrs.
