The hype around Fold Money

Recently one user pointed out obvious gaps in the product and instead of gracefully embracing the feedback like a young forward-thinking startup would, they took the amateur “tit for tat” round: https://x.com/foldmoney_/status/1697959307881398526?s=46 At this point it seems like another cool app destined for a mediocre mid-list oblivion outcome. Thoughts?

Fold Money Review

What's your opinion in the Fold Money app? I was every excited until I started using it. But, once I started using it, I couldn't find much use for me. There's another app called Fi, which itself is a neo bank, but also helps in tracking the transactions just like Fi (using the same partner Finvu). Both of them have it's own pros and cons, and am looking forward to seeing them evolve. Fold Money app's UInis really good, but as of now, there's nothing much it can offer 🥲

Recently, I discovered the fold money app and was really impressed by their design and overall look and feel of the product. There are many apps which are catering to a similar use case like fold money: Mint being one of the prime examples! Shutting it down

Hey guys, With a heavy heart and after 10-11 months of constant work I am shutting my startup down. Thanks for all the love and support. What happened was I was able to build the product but couldn't raise enough funds to get the required gov. licenses to go live. I did build a demo mode to let people test out what the app was supposed to be and got more than 250+ sign ups. Would you switch to a new investment app?

I've got a pitch for a new investment app with a strong team and idea looks decent. However my biggest concern is consumer stickiness. Taking myself as an example, I've been a zerodha user for as long as I remember, kite & coin both. Even though I've been hearing good things about Groww, I don't feel like shifting my whole portfolio ( taking the headache associated with migrating & monitoring a new app) all for better UI. So, would you guys, use a new investment app?
