Should i take this course 50 k?

To give some context I attended a bootacmp if a person who is claiming to have 20 years exprince, seeme authentic. It was more or ux and all methods and strategies. His some mantees got into IBM and Google. Now from what he said, we can only get into to fang companies if u have such ux skills .is this true. Here are the things he said he will teach if I took his course. Not worth. There is enough amount of content in YouTube itself available for free. Apart from that above course looks more fraud. Apart from that, lot of articles.

UX with coding is it worth it?

Iam a product designer, plus ui developer Iam a full time ui developer in my 9_5 company ( angular,tailwind,ionic) And iam a product designer in my second company . Basically I deigned and launched a web app for edtech space, where we try to teach data science and machine learning to kids. I do like product design more ,but the reason iam sticking onto ui front-end is I feel like designers don't get much respect, people tell of its just colors and stuff, Iam thinking if I know design and also front-end, will I be able to jump to a better company with better pay,? I have 1 .5 years of experience.

How is the UX mentorship program by Girinath Gokulavasan?

I attended his portfolio cracking session yesterday. He took a dig at Growth School’s program. The walkthrough of his mentee’s portfolio wasn’t a conventional one. It looked like the UX process was explained in detail. Although his agenda was to find mentees for his mentorship program, I wonder if it’s worth joining his cohort. I struggle with the UX process as I did it get to enough user study ans follow a process when it comes to design. I am kind of stuck between learning this by myself or join a mentorship program. I have an experience of 3.5 years in UX and I sometimes feel mentorship is too late for men.
