ESOPS: How much ESOPs did you get and how much are they worth now?
Were you able to liquidate any of the ESOPs granted, what are your opinions on ESOP policies. Does it only favour the old employees/CXOs?

ESOP are the only way to make outsized gains, way beyond any CTC. In my first startup i got 10L of ESOP that became 4cr.
Most people see them as useless, mainly because they think it's smart to swap company every few years for a 20% hike and never see the benefits of owning ESOP.

Asking as it looks like a lot of promise of ESOPs and wealth creation has failed employees in this bloodbath slow growth, layoffs, and job changes.

I have had ESOPS in 2 companies #1 - company got acquired ..I got 45 Lacs IN ESOP ...thats 1.5X of my last annualize...
