EV scooter vs ice scooter

Hi, I am planning to buy a scooter but currently in a dilemma. Running per day is not more than 15 km on average. So I'm not sure whether i should buy an ev scooter or a traditional ice scooter. EV has a higher initial cost plus battery replacement approx after 4-5 years while ice has fuel and maintenance cost. Looking for any pointer to make this decision easier.

It's not like after 4-5 years battery range falls to 0

There will be ~ 10% depreciation maybe 🤔

You can still push it further

  1. If you don't have permanent place , the next place you shift too might not have charging facility in parking
  2. ice would be easier to sell if you decide to move
  3. Acc to ather's own calculator you'd be saving â‚ą830/mo on fuel
  4. Ice is fine for 15 years , ev has 8 year warranty on battery

Ev has fun factor , but you haven't told enough about your scenario that we could weigh in 🤷‍♀️

What's the difference in on road pricing of the models you're considering? Did you test drive both? If point one isn't figured out I wouldn't bother with ev though.

Place is not an issue according to me as home charging at night is good enough, plus my daily commute is not more than 15-20 km so weekly charging should be ok.

I am considering ather ritza z with pro pack which is 150k approx and in ice tvs Jupiter 125 which is around 110k so 40k difference up front plus battery cost assuming I'm not taking 8 years battery warranty. In 8 year also the battery is eligible for warranty only if battery health degrades to less than 70%
