Every candidate deserves a response from HR ?

Even after clearing assignments, interviews why it's so hard for HR's to respond? I don't care if I am selected or not but I want the feedback if I didn't make it.

HRs have a lot of open roles and candidates to cater to. If a candidate isn’t selected, they don’t want to waste even a second of time to inform the disqualified candidate. In my 12 years of career, I haven’t found even a single HR who had responded via calls. Less than 1% of HR had sent rejection emails, and I received feedback from just 2 HRs. Even after calling from my end, only 2-3 HRs picked up my call and gave me feedback.

All those HR stories in LinkedIn - this that falana dhimkana is just all bahana. Probably a handful of HRs would do(0.0001%) of the community.

This is what I do if I am not selected:

  1. If I get a rejection email, I reply back for feedback.
  2. Is it’s a role which I felt would get converted, I call the HR for feedback - One call plus follow-up call(if first call isn’t picked up, a week after interview).
  3. For other roles, I don’t bother but try to recall if there was something I could have improved on my interview.

Thanks for the response!

Getting closure feels much better though, rejection acceptance doesn't matter that much to me
