How is the experience with Plum as health insurance broker?

The median sum insured is only 3 Lakh Only 56% offer maternity benefits Only 25% provide cover for employees’ parents Hey folks, I work at Plum and this week launched our State of Employee Benefits report (https://www.plumhq.com/state-of-eb). We dug into a ton of data and turns out employees in India don’t really get a good deal when it comes to insurance and other health benefits. Here’s some more interesting aspects - 1. While Unicorns are doing better than most companies out there, even competing unicorns could have vastly different policies and coverage 2. Enterprise safety is a real thing. They definitely tend to do better than all the ‘hyper-growth, hustle is life’ startups Would love to hear from this community. And please AMA about the report or how to evaluate your own company-provided insurance and benefits :)

How do you check/ rate what is good and what is not?

Looking out to buy Term Insurance. Am married, and both of us are working. Wanted advice on deciding the coverage amount, cover till age, deciding between various plans, should both of us take the insurance Anyone who has taken it, please advise. Thanks in advance!

Recently caught up with a friend who works for an “employee friendly” HR tech company. This brand has been boasting about how great they are with the sort of employee benefits they offer. The founder specially keeps boasting about this on LinkedIn and Twitter. Found out yesterday, that the employee benefits come at a cost of micro management and a toxic environment at the workplace. Really sad to see the perceptions that the brands create and the reality they offer. Would you prefer: 1. Few employee benefits with no micromanagement? Or 2. More employee benefits at the cost of micromanagement?

In the last 2-3 years have been witnessing a tremendous influx in the credit card (new gen) market with One Card, Uni, Slice to name a few. The credit card market is pretty synonymous to insurance market in India with single digit penetration levels and predominantly governed by metros and Tier-1 cities. Asking experts on how these new gen card players are planning to survive without any kind of innovation

I went through glassdoor, ambition box and others and only found poor reviews for them but couldn’t find reviews specific to product so your experience sharing these details would help.
