Does Cred/ Fold sell data to brands?
I want to know what does a fintech or a money management app does with all the data that they have. Do they sell it to other fintechs directly so they can sell products to customers or do they also sell it to brands for customer insights

Do you really think they can do that don’t say foolishness. Do you know how many audits company like CRED go through ? They are one of the best players in the market who are in good books of RBI. And your data is already there in the dark web we just have to pay 200rs that’s it it’s already leaked by the government itself.

When you try to take a loan online, once you're no longer someone who can convert on a platform where you tried, they sell your data to other fintechs. This is one of the acquisition source and you'll be bombarded with sms and calls.
