Previous company not accepting resignation

Hey guys, I am leaving this crap company and there is a 3 months notice, I have already served 6 weeks and till now the manager has not accepted my resignation. I resigned without any offer and he said why do you need acceptance if you don't have offer. He first said that he will relieve me early and that's why he didn't accept, because if he does then he won't be able to relieve me early. But today he told me that it's not possible for him to relieve me early and I asked him to accept the resignation again. He said that they accept resignation on the last week and I won't be able to take any holiday if I accept the resignation. I think he's full of sh*t, I'm scared that he may try to increase my notice if something happens, that's why he's not accepting, I don't know if he can legally do that. Do I need to give any explanation as to why I need him to accept it, I don't trust this a**hole one bit. I need him to accept it, how do I do it and can he say no I won't accept.

Hi, I have resigned from my organisation which has a 90 days notice period clause. I have another offer which I need to join in 60 days. My current employer is not at all agreeing for early release. Can i join a new company while being on notice period with my current employer? What are the implications?

New company is asking for my relieving letter, which i don't have and will be having by a week or two so . What should be submitted in this case ? My latest payslip+ joining letter ? I left my previous company in oct mid, i have payslip of sept with me .. Will that work ? Help me

New guy in team, no intro, he got my creds. 📊 Reporting shifted to HR, no work assigned, sensed possible layoff. 🚫 No communication, red flag, forced office visit despite injury. 💰 Salary received, PF deducted, no passbook data, doubtful deposit. 🔄 Y offered better opportunity, hid X on resume, got and accepted offer. ❓ Should I have told Y about X? Concerned: 1. Tell now, they may understand or revoke. 2. Keep quiet, can they find out later via background check? 🤷‍♂️ Policies differ, but it's about people, not policies—understand or do shit. LinkedIn: X-> 300-400, Y -> ~4000 (layoffs recently, so numbers might decrease).

Hi everyone, I need advice on the next steps. I submitted my resignation 20 days ago, but my manager hasn't approved it yet. She insists that I serve the full 60 day notice period, of which 20 days are already completed. I've requested to shorten it to a 40 day notice period, but she hasn't accepted my request. I'm also willing to buy out the remaining notice period. If I proceed with the buyout, will it affect my relieving and experience letters or cause any issues during the background verification process. Should I talk to her manager regarding this , as now she's on sick leave for entire 1 week. Please advise on what to do. Thanks.

Hi all i have recently resigned from my company but my manager is not approving my resignation and is forcing me to stay more what to do?

The company haven’t paid us 3-6months of salary saying that there’s a delay in raising VC funds. They also didn’t pay TDS and gave us Form 16 for ITR. I reached out to our client company where I worked briefly and they were happy to offer me a job there. I’m dangerously out of money in savings and it’s still uncertain in my current company about any funds. So I have given a early date to him because I really need their salary and joining bonus to survive actually. I thought I can immediately relieve from my current company as I don’t have finished projects and haven’t involve in new. But they are not responding to my calls and mail requesting for immediate resignation. What should I do now ?

I resigned on 24th May from my current company. They have 2 months notice period. I asked them to reduce it to a month since I’m not in a good place mentally. My grandma (who’s like a parent to me) is really v. sick, she’s lying on her deathbed. So I want to shift back to my hometown and take care of her. I want to go asap. They didn’t hear me at all. And this job has given me so much stress, from past 4-5 days my bp got low, I had high fever. I sent them doctor’s slip. Even then this HR is saying you’ve to abide by the policy. And honestly I hate working here, since they have a tool based environment, that is not getting to my head. So now I’ve decided to not work at all. Since my health is also not that good. Is there any other way they can agree to reduce the notice period? Since I’m really tired of this. Also, I hope not working won’t do any harm.

I work for a fairly popular and large Indian startup and I'm at a considerably senior position. As seen recently also with a lot of startups, my company is creating hurdles in my exit. I've resigned from the company but the company has a policy that allows them to accept or reject resignations at will. They are not accepting my resignation and are threatening me with frivolous law suits. I'm scared and not sure about how true their threats are. Can someone please give references of good lawyers experienced in HR practices, service and employment cases etc.? Will be grateful.
