Do introverts become Founders?

1. Novel/new business idea 2. Degrees/MBAs 3. Experience/reputation 4. Money (hardly 20-30k to register company) 5. CTO 6. Employees/Co-founders 7. External investment 8. Website/app 9. Social media accounts 10. Office location (register home as office) Far too many people focus on needing xyz before starting up. Most of them are excuses and self-imposed roadblocks from what I've seen in my conversations with people. I'm currently working on 2 ventures that still have many items missing from this list. Doesn't really stop me from making revenue and profit. Sure, there may be some things required from this list for specific businesses and at diff stages. But they are mostly an extra, good to have but not required. What is required in copious amounts is courage and will power, willingness to face rejections and ability to withstand multiple failures only to get back up and try again. Also, a healthy enough risk appetite. I hope to see more young and talented folks (especially MBA grads) start their own thing some day. Best time is in your twenties and early thirties, when you have little to lose. So I interviewed for a SaaS company serving US clients. I got selected after three rounds (basic email chat, built a project, technical coding round at last) and got selected. Finally, it was time to discuss salary and joining date with the CEO. He was impressed by the about section on my portfolio, where I mentioned that I like to go on treks, hikes, read books, lift weights, go on a run, etc. During our call he mentioned that everyone at the startup works 6-7days a week, 12hrs a day and asked if I'd be fine with it as I have a "happening life". I said that I'm not used to it but I'll manage and work in appropriate working hours. He seemed to agree on it. But he ghosted me after that, and when I pinged him in the email thread; he said he's not moving ahead with me because my other properties won't allow me to "work as much as other employees". How am I supposed to react to this lol

As a product designer, one need to work with different stakeholders (developers, product managers, business etc.). As an introvert, how do you manage to speak up your opinions and not feel intimated in a group of people? Specially if you're new to a company and haven't had much interaction yet with the team.

Would you guys consider joining a startup with only 3-4 people in the office? I’m a recent graduate and got an opportunity to work with a team of 4 however i’m not sure if i should join because i’ve always wanted to work at bigger organisations and get that corporate feeling and i im also an introvert and hate being “seen/perceived” (iykwim) and that’s the case with smaller teams but again looking at the job market rn im scared id end up employed what to do?

I came across many founders on LinkedIn who have added building Stealth startups in their bio/ description.

I'm so slammed with my day job that i barely have any time left to work on my ideas. On the weekends i just want to rest and recoup. How do you founders do this? I work at least 10 hours a day. Then there's commute, lunch and bathroom breaks. Sucks dude.

Are FAANG engineers not required anymore? Apparently the shit behaviour is hard to put up with.

To tell in one line: I know I am not CEO material. I am not ok with the never ending corporate rat race and it's time to optimise my time and start building something on my own. The game is rigged towards high end degrees and rightly so. I don't want to aim for a unicorn level but a simple trader who rakes in 2 lakh a month - that's the level I want to achieve and grow at a steady pace.

I did not grow up in a lot of money. I ordered looking at the prices on the menu. This feeling has stayed with me and has fueled me to thrive, push harder, work long hours and get to my goals. I'm 5 years into my career, and last year I had a feeling of "making it". I had enough to not look at the menu, or even the place I'd be going to. This feeling is really really satisfying and I took some time to sit with it, enjoy and bask in this glory (humbly). But I also feel my drive to hustle and do better has gone down. For instance, I'm okay pushing work to tomorrow, I'm not as keen to pickup work. I feel some of graveviners could relate to 'making enough' story. Have you also feel a lack of hustle to keep you going? What do you think is the reason? For experienced folks, I'm really keen to know how to get past this slump.
