Things you can assume about someone, whos doesn't have a LinkedIn presence:

Do I know him - No Do I have mutual connections - No Does he use Premium - No Does he have any badge - No What query did they use and why is it even suggested when there are these many No's

Do posting consistently on LinkedIn to get likes, comments, and shares and more followers and connections help in getting more opportunities, especially for freshers? I have observed a few freshers and many professionals nearly posting daily on LinkedIn. They post primarily their personal opinions and anything different they do in their professional life, such as certifications, their own articles, something new they tried, visits, and even (mainly women) adding their workplace photos with even irrelevant posts. I have no problem with anything they do, but I want to know if it helps build one's career.

I followed a lot of these so called CP influencers on LinkedIn or X. and see most of these people stay in their job for long time. 1 person who just passed out of college joined Zomato (referral only), made so many post about work etc, but left in 6 months (acc to his LinkedIn ). seen other cases as well. acc to CP/DSA is most important for SDE, then why cant they work, is it because of money from their courses or they cant sustain in their job. I have 6 years if experience but dont think only CP helps you

I must have applied for dozens of jobs on LinkedIn job portal. At times companies don't reply or I mostly get automated rejection emails. PS - I'm someone with more than a decade and a half experience. So my target roles are a little senior.

Searching for my lobster since fckin 5yrs and no results! -Tried through contacts, turned down - Shaadi/Jeevansathi : No one is serious and the more options I get the more end up confused. Likewise for the other side. Although in online I get plethora of options,I end up wasting time and money. 95% of the matches are doing window shopping. Just an amusing observation. I see someone I haven't seen at all post on LinkedIn and they'll be active for a few days, announce a job change and immediately go back to hibernation! I, myself, am guilty of it! While I try to be active on LinkedIn regardless, I do see a spike in my activity when actively soliciting a new client as opposed to when I'm comfortable with one :D
