Moving to Delhi?

I work as a project manager for an international company. They’re planning to put an office in Delhi in the next 2-3 months. Currently I work fully remote, they’re hinting at me going on-site in Delhi cause they want me to take up a leadership position. I am born and brought up in Mumbai, living in Bangalore for about 2 years. I absolutely love Bangalore and I’m not that keen on moving. Is there someone who’s moved to Delhi? How’s the experience been for you? What can I expect?

Yes experience will be great. nCr will be as humid as mumbai and even hotter. Other than that dont get involved in road rage. U'll be fine

You'll have to switch to samosas from Vada pav and chole bhature from pav bhaji. Well, maybe not. You can get Vada pav and most definitely pav bhaji also on the streets nowadays in Delhi NCR. Vada pav in specific places though. Good ones are hard to find or are too expensive.

I lived in Mumbai for 17 years, and moved to Delhi for studies and tbh Delhi isn't that transportation friendly imo. Mumbai has local trains which are quite fast and cheap, autos and taxis operate as per the meter. But in Delhi everyone's there to scoop extra cash out of you. Everything's just expensive and straightup has less value for money... It's been 4 years and I seriously want to move back to Mumbai as I can't live anymore in this awfully expensive place for bachelors.

1. Don't ask for advice about NCR online . There are doctors, soldiers, engineers, lawyers from all part of the country working in pvt and public sector, do you think they are looted and toad raged everywhere in ncr on daily basis? South indians are working in govt dept , nor eastern bros have set up well estb shops in delhi, ppl from afgansitan have shops in malss, their children get trained in wrestling in lajpat ,nigerians have been selling their shit smoothily,ask these ppl for exp of delhi. Online dudes are lazy as fuck. they feel rudly talked to when someone say "no" to them. You can be robbed in mumbai too....you cant get uber in railwaystation near tualnimaritime in"pune" the local autunion wont allow them to enter but "pune" is still cool?. Atleast you dont have those cartel in delhi. Free trade.

If you have to ask, don't come. It is your privilege "i will switch " capacity which gives you enough nerve to ask how a city is to work. I was 21, for 15k i had to live in remote town of rajasthan, with just a fan n light, and that's all i was told before going there and i said yes. Naukri hai to nakhra kis bat ka. In that town even adult boys were not allowed to wear shorts. I never complained. They sounded rude but were never. Helpful and determined. Not cunning. If you dont want to come you will find an excuse. If you want to come to delhi, u will find and excuse. Simple.
