If people ask about you n number of times, does that mean they have any expectations from you?
If someone is constantly checking upon you, they must have some kind of expectation from you. Right?

They just ask about me to my parents and when it's a longer conversation they make it sure to ask about Work & salary mostly.

They just wanna know what are u upto in life ? How is your career going ? Mostly it's about how much u are earning ...ppl really don't give a sh@# about you unless you are planning to make it big in life or maybe doing something better for urself
This applies to the "so called friends" as well .
You wont believe, but this has become rampant in the lives of women as well , and trust me , it's not about their marriages ...but their "CAREERS". Long gone are the days when they asked about marriages and settling in life ...now it's all about which country u visited and "why is your daughter still earning soo less inspite of having a master's degree"

But this constant comparision will make them, more anxious and bad about themselves coz someone will be doing better in life than them for sure. And by doing this they would be hampering their mental peace.
This kind of thought process is so fucked up. 🥴 Now, I feel sad for them, WTF is wrong with them.
