Salary above 15 LPA in product design
Now it's becoming a rare opportunity in comparison to the developer's starting salary.
Developer getting 2x amount and sometimes 3x the amount what designers are getting.
So people who are coming to design industry from developer side of things, think again
I have a different view. The Demand for skilled product designers with solid foundation is just growing day by day and these folks earn way more than even the Devs in same industry. Yes, you have to stand out from the crowd to get to this stage, but once you cross the barrier - there's potential to earn even more than PMs in the same team. It all depends on how much impact you bring to the table as well communicate that impact across the company. It's all about how well your craft is and how well you are at selling your craft.
