Hiring scene in US?

Hello everyone, I’m planning to move to US for my Masters degree in computer science and I wanted to know what the job scene is like for engineers with a masters degree and 2-3 years of experience. Also wanted to know how the situation is going to change in the coming two years.

I'm currently working as a software engineer in India, with TC 45LPA and 2 years of experience. I'm thinking about applying for a Master's in CS in the USA for fall 2024. But I'm not sure if I want to settle there or not currently. Should I make the move considering things are going well in India? Getting a job directly in the US seems close to impossible. Any advice? Hi, I am currently working as an software developer (5+ years experience)with around 40LPA CTC. Most of the people in my circle have gone there 2-3 years back. Now I am having a fear of missing out, I applied for a few universities and I have got an admit in MS in CS. Is it worth it to migrate to another country and start again at this point of my career? What is your opinion on work in USA compared to India? Need some experienced folks with honest answers please.

How to Choose this due to the ongoing Job Crisis situation in USA and other Western Countries?

Hi Team, I have an admit from a Boston University for MS in US. The loan amount is coming around 80L including living expenses and tuition fees. I’ll have to take a loan to pursue education there. Is that worth it? The loan amount looks too high. What would be the time taken on an average to payback the loan? Is the ROI justified? Please help. Thanks.

Confused if i should go for MS CS from USA or stay in India, how would you decide? I have almost 5 years of experience as a software engineer in India. Its been a long time now, that i am confused if i should go to US for MS considering i will have to take up a loan of 50 lakhs. Also the layoffs are here, probably scenario will be good once the MS is over (May ‘24) , and i might be able to repay the loan. It seems like a huge step and a risky one. My motivation for US are 1. Foreign Exposure and Experience 2. Bank Balance for better retirement in India As IT is uncertain and we never know what might happen in future. What are your thoughts on this, what factors should i consider?

So my sibling is about to graduate with a degree in Computer Science from a T2 college in a few months and wants to now do MS in the US because of three reasons: 1. Low levels of violence against women(Sexual Assault) [IMPORTANT!!] 2. Want to do innovative work in the US instead of working on copycat products in India 3. Ambition of living in the US long term because of free-er culture But my parents have flat out refused to fund the education or even help her with a loan due to regressive mentality (nahi jaana baahar, 2-3 saal kaam karo aur shaadi karo chup chaap) She has accepted a job offer for now and will make 14L/year. What are her options? Should she drop the idea of MS abroad?
