Planning a solo trip to Thailand with a budget of 60K, any tips and interested to join, comment down
Hello, I have ever been to any international trip. I am thinkomg of going to Thailand as it's visa in arrival I think. All The folks who have been to Thailand, can you please suggest me some tips or what shall I know specific to Thailand or any intl trip.
Also please recommend what all Places shall I visit and how to enjoy maximum, my budget is around 60k including everything.
We stayed at Koh Samui for 5 days last month and it was a very laid back trip. Would nt recommend for your budget. You should explore Pattaya, Phuket (the usual spots with Indians).
Buy Klook pass if you want to visit some attractions.
Also, Check Tag Thai app for passes (really good ones if you wanna do only 1 or 2 cities)
Download Google translator. English can be a slight challenge.
I want to know , like which places or cities shall I be visitomg and what all fun activities I can do. Also what is the optimum, budget. I want the experience to be enriching.
Visa free Babe, just march right in! Your budget is low though, Thailand is expensive than India Transport is expensive too
Also please carry big water bottle at all times, it is funking hot.
I was there in December and would finish 3 ltrs by myself.
They love fruit juices, buy them everyday. It will compensate for water too.
Which all places are you going?
That I want to know, like which places or cities shall I be visitomg and what all fun activities I can do. Also what is the optimum, budget. I want the experience to be enriching.
I was in Bangkok only so can't say about other places. Flight+Hotel costed 54k after we got great deal.
Withdrew currency at Bangkok Bank, cost was 1500 so would recommend that. Get a zero forex card
The currency will take care of all expenses, they are majorly cash economy. So that's another 50k (that will cover everything almost)
Look up all tourist attractions, they have hop on cruise for exploring the city
One recommendation: Book yourself a 'Dream Package' at Let's Relax salon. It's a major salon chain in SEA. It costs about 2500, you'll thank me later. Please book appointment, else they'll not accept
Didn't like Thai Massage, funking broke the body but you are welcome to try for the experience
Here's my suggestion:
Fly directly to Phuket.
Book any of the resorts in Patong, preferably closer to the beach. The Novotel / Holiday Inn is a good budget option.
Chill in Phuket. Take the boar tours. Chill on the beach. Get massages (Christine). Hangout on Bangla Road post midnight. Go to Fantasea. Dinner at Surin Beach.
Fly Phuket-Bangkok:
Do the touristy circuit. Stay in Sukhumvit. Good hotel options close to the monorail.
The touristy circuit is easy in Bangkok - Grand Temple, Floating Market, MBK, etc. Bangkok bores me but the others have given good pointers on what to do.
NB: Whatever you do, avoid any discussion on their royalty (especially the King). Just zip it. Penalties are severe.
What are the adventure activities available to do in phuket like diving, snorkeling etc.. Do you have any idea like how and where to do it. Also what will be the total budget provided I eat in hotel. I am more inclined towards fun activities and adventures rather than sightseeing
You can snorkel, dive, take a day long power boat cruise around the islands.
These aren't cheap though. Phuket is one of the better places to dive in the world.
Note :- I can increase the budget but I want the experience to be enriching... I don't smoke, drink or tend to visit any red light area. Please suggest me as I am noob.
You're seeking suggestions for these 3 activities?
I am saying I don't do all these 3 activities. I want advices on other fun activities.
Do take travel insurance. You can try Krabi, phi phi - much better than Bangkok and Phuket in my opinion
What all activities can be done in phi phi and Krabi Also is travel insurance necessary??
