Hearing of silent layoffs at Make my Trip, Flipkart and so many other companies. What are some of the ways in which these tech cos are silently firing people so they can avoid a bad headline?

It has asked people to put down paper voluntary to receive severance pay to make it seem like valuntary resignations and not firing.
Situation is not great with no hikes this year any way.
All across funding reasons to remove people is the trend right now
