What all do you do to be productive at work?
Gadgets? Furniture? Apps? Frameworks? Mindset? Fitness? What all did you try and what worked for you? Any communities that you can suggest for productivity and resources.
Want to get into a better routine - be productive at work, eat mindfully, workout now and then.
Wanted to check what you guys do to stay disciplined - any mental models or apps that I could use?
Maybe old school, but I write everything on my notes and put a date next. I don't close my day unless I finish all my to-dos. Old school feeling of winning something; the apps don't give that feeling :)
In addition, I also do these two things in parallel - a. Put my phone on airplane mode b. Turn off all the communication tools, Slack, Zoom, and Email, one and only open a couple of websites I need to work on for 2 hours.
Doing this for almost a year now, and I have never felt more productive than this before.
Energy dictates your Productivity.
Energy hack: actually wake up for early for Tennis 😉 / start or finish your day with a run / light gymming.
Rest are P1/P2 imo.
Setup time limit for everything. No matter what, u should complete it within the time limit.

fellow engineers, what tools or hacks are you guys following to be more productive?
i am using todoist and keep notes to keep track of my tasks but often missing them and not able to be consistent as there are tons of tasks to get done ...
I’m using onesec and rize these days Both of these tools are working like magic.
