For folks getting responses to job applications, how are you doing it?
What do you think you are doing differently that is leading to getting responses?
Are you directly reaching recruiters on Linkedin instead of applying directly?
Are you applying from other websites like naukri, foundit, instahyre?
Do you have some really interesting projects / github stars on your github?
Please share any and all strategies that are working out for you and those that aren't.
The current job market looks bad, let's help each other out to maximise our chances
Thanks in advance!
I followed the steps below:
I have 3 months of NP, Fortunately I got a call from one Fintech startup and convinced them for 75 days NP.
- Bought linkedin premium.
- Messaged 3 recruiters a day of a company requesting them to consider my profile and explaining how I am the ideal candidate.
- Connect / message / cold email atleast 10 recruiters/ HM's a day
- Joined tech channels on discord, fish bowl for referrals (Referrals do work a lot)
- Updating naukri with less notice period will help in getting more calls
In 60 days I am fortunate enough to get 10+ interview calls, with 6 interview scheduled and 3 got converted.
This looks good. Do you have a template that works for HMs/cold emails?
Also, Fish bowl provides referrals?
