Fresher issues

I recently joined this company as a data analyst and I came to know from my friend who was also interviewing for the same role that my manager wasn't happy with my pace and wanted some candidates with better knowledge of coding however I had informed them in my interview that I am a beginner and don't have enough experience. I am really worried as I am also in my probation period, also my other colleague wasn't happy with my work, I had to do that again and again. Any suggestions or tips??

Communicate your issues with the team and manager. Tell them that you understand that as your previous deliverables were not upto mark you are trying to upskill and improve your skills. I would say go even further and ask them for suggestions about additional sources/readings that will help you improve.

This will atleast help improve your standing with your manager so that he thinks that this kid is new but atleast he is trying his best and if he notices improvement over time, you would be in the green pretty soon.

Do what the above suggestion says. Also, try putting in more hours over the weekend to sharpen your skills. Get hands on and do some practical and relevant projects.
