Future of Golang

What's your thought on Go as a language. Is it used widely like Java/python? Now a days I see many companies are asking for Go.

Golang is the future. Nothing beats its concurrency model and clean nature of compiled code. Hot damn.

Python is superb for low QPS systems and prototyping. Go is for production

Probably a good lang to pick up is either Rust or Elixir more than Golang. A lot of the newer systems would be written in those. They are at a place where Golang with 3-4 years back. Future proofing for at least next 4 years.
