Lately I have been getting a lot of DMs from TA from various companies on linkedin. They would start the conversation with something like “We are really impressed with your profile and work you are doing …”
Then they proceed to ask for contact details and resume and then they just vanish out of thin air.
It’s not that I have a bad resume because whenever I start to actively look for a job I get interview calls right away from actual HRs who are hiring.
Is this some shady practice that TA people have been following to build their roster/database for different job roles that they frequently hire for.
