Okay I want to get straight into things. I have been an Android developer for almost 1.2 years ( 10 months full time + 6 months internships )
I love and have enjoyed building the apps. It is to me like I am not even working and I enjoy it so much.
But I have been unemployed (by choice) for the last 1 year. By choice I mean, I resigned from my full time job at a start-up because they hired toxic people as lead who were so toxic that I had to quit the job without any other offer. For a few months I came back home(Delhi) from Bangalore to prepare for other interviews but things happened in my family (sudden demise) which took more of my time and I lost the grasp on concepts I was once fluent with.
I tried giving a few interviews but nothing good came up so I started to work as a freelancer for the time being. No pressure and I had enough savings so things went okayish.
Now I have delayed things way too much. But I want to get back now. Is there a chance? I saw a post from Google (not sure legit) that they were looking for Sde with 1 year of experience in Android. It kind of ignited the fire back in me as it's something I have wanted to join since the beginning.
I know that if I give my 6 months of sheer focus to something its gonna happen for sure. But I need someone's guidance at this moment. I am kinda lost but..
I want to do it, i can do it ( i have literally worked my ass off in the start-up, for almost 12 hours each day and even on Sundays) so I know I can do it. But how?
