Now G-Suite users will be able to share a similar page to schedule calls, which was Calendly’s main use case.
It’s so sad to see that one small feature addition from a big organization can just kill a small company in a short amount of time.
The main surprise is that the bigger company never thought about this feature even being in the market for too long. No wonder why Microsoft is giving tough competition to them.

Even when Google meet is free, why do people pay for zoom ? Google's scheduled won't let you schedule meetings on zoom afaik.
It had introduced a similar feature a year ago itself, but still people use calendly because it has that brand recall, very easy to share and everyone knows how it works
No one uses Google product for buisness uses it will be discontinued by the end of the year

Ad accounts arbitrarily stopped can disrupt cashflows in a major way. I'm seeing a lot of startups struggle with frequent algo/rule changes and blocked accounts.
