I was earning ok money in my previous job, and saw someone earning 7 lakhs more at my work ex Switched and got the same money. I was happy for 2 days but in the new company someone my age was earning 4 lakhs more. Got sad again

I guess this will only stop once you reach 60/70 lakhs. People will say don't compare, but you can't stop comparing, it comes naturally

Vicious cycle, won't stop at 70 too. Unless something big happens which bangs you on the head to change priorities like health issues.

This doesn't stop ever. People who start loving what they do initially even if money is way less will keep doing the same things even if money quadruples. The trick is to find the thing you can keep doing & it pays well too eventually
