Guitar 🎸 under 5k

Hey everyone

I am planning to learn guitar from YouTube and want to buy one for under 5k. I have set this budget because I am not sure if I will still be committed to this learning passion three or four months from now and don't want this to be an expensive impulsive purchase that I will regret later. I have also seen guitars priced around 2-3k on Amazon. Please suggest if you know any guitars within the price range I mentioned. Thanks in advance!

Instead of spending 5k on guitar which you have no idea of commitment, join a guitar class nearby, would be so much cheaper than 5k and they will provide guitar for you initially

Guitar classes near to my locality starts from 500-700 per hour so buying a guitar makes more sense

Per hour? That's way too expensive. There should be cheaper alternatives. Classes are the best way to learn

  1. Youtube isn't the best way to go, fundamentals are very important early on in learning guitar, if your fundamentals are set wrong you'll struggle a lot later on. A LOT.
    You need a good teacher initially.

  2. You won't get a decent guitar in that range honestly, the cheapest I would recommend is the Yamaha FG800.

Learning a skill properly does require some investment. You need to figure out WHY do you wish to learn guitar. If you have a strong enough reason dont be afraid to invest if you can. 500-700 for a class is expensive.
