Viable solution that I desperately want to take is - Move out of Bangalore. I have heard Pune has amazing water because of 3 rivers around it and dams. And ofc the rent isn't as high as bangalore. Infrastructure is awesome!

Pune water is shit as well. I did my MBA there, and that's where it all started. But i now feel better that than this.

It's not shit. If you got borewell water then yes, but Pune major places have corporation water and corporation water is damn good.
In bangalore, not sure how many places get Cauvery water.

Lmao same thing was happening to me. What I did - use hair oil, started taking biotin gummies

I read somewhere that biotin gummies increase hair growth EVERYWHERE, which, let's just say, is not something i would like to see happening

i stayed there for 6 years. What helped me was that I used to wash my hair every 4th day and used to apply coconut oil for 30 mins before taking shower. for rest of days, i used to avoid putting water on head.
if this also doesnt solve, many folks use canned water for washing head.

This happened with my wife. Visited doctors, they did some blood tests, gave some expensive serum to apply to hair roots everyday and some vitamins. Nothing worked.

The tap water TDS was 250+ when the RO serviceman arrived for servicing the water filter. So TDS was the actual problem. Washing hair with RO was too much of a hassle. A typical RO will have 7l capacity which would be too little to wash hair and you would have to empty it out a couple of times to fill up a bucket.

So I bought a Cleo Showerhead filter on Amamzon. The upfront cost is about 2.5k. Has all the tools needed inside the packaging to replace the shower head yourself. The cartridge costs 800 and needs replacement every 6 months. Hairfall reduced significantly and hair density also increased with new hair growth. I comb her hair daily once so I know :P.

I will start using drinkprime water to wash my hair. And use the normal tap water for body wash. Will take a normal amount of ro water to wash hair.

P.S.- i think it's really gentlemanly of you to comb your wife's hair. Sweet even

P.P.S- hey god, it's me again..

I am from a company that actually provides hairfall treatments and have seen 1000s of cases.

One very strong recommendation for Benglureans: Please install a water softener attachment on your tap. Immediately.

Pro tip: Avoid showers. Regular bucket water is better to use for hair wash.
