I've (28 M) been having hair fall since about 8 years now. While in college I was actually a bit crazy about this and tried a lot of treatments, eggs etc. Nothing gave much satisfactory results Current state is like receding hairline showing a decent U shape. I try to cover it by having a bit long hairs in the front. But tbh I've never been able to figure out the perfect hairstyle suiting this predicament. I've been applying minoxidil since last few years. I've not been that much regular and there are brief periods when I'm not able to apply it. A doctor prescribed me dutasteride which I took for a while but that also didn't have any lasting change (maybe it works while you take it and not afterwards or it could just be a placebo effect) With time there has been awareness and acceptance that there is not much you can do about it. Recently I've been hearing a lot about traya on the internet but usually I try to ignore anything that can inspire any hope on the subject due to past experiences but a close friend showed me his before and after pictures for traya and those results looked good. So should I give it a try ? Bear the burden of hope one more time ?? Have any of you tried it ? Please share your reviews. Also are the medications like a lifetime thing ?? Will the hair start falling back once I stop the treatment ?
I've had the same problem, and started using Man Matters products in the last 6 months. I'm seeing major hairfall control. Also, started getting small baby hairs around the temple area. I might be able to give a better review after 2-3 months. But Man Matters looks positive to me.

Yes, using it for 6 months. Minoxidil Tropical, Minoxidil Oral tablet, Vighan CPA and Hair fall shampoo. It costs around 1500 per month.
Hop on fin + min. The thing with fin or dutasteride is you have to use it forever without skipping for a long period of time (max 1 week). The same goes for minoxidil honestly but minoxidil can't control hairfall it can only promote the growth of it and make your hair look denser and thick.
Do this for atleast 6 months without skipping to see any effect

Traya is good, the hair looks good till you use. Once you stop it gets worse than before.
Healthly food, exercise and good water is key for long term.

Using basic borewell water severely messes up your hair, for most of these treatments to work, surface should be neutral or slightly acidic in nature. Using a bottle of filtered water can improve things. Either that or install a filter attachment on your showerhead.

Stop using tap water for hair wash. Use RO water only
Does that really work ? I've heard it a lot but it feels like too much of a pre shower effort. Also how do you manage in winters ? Take water from ro in a pan and then heat it
It's a trade off! If you want hair to stay then you have to take efforts. Also, never take hot water on your head
