Meetings eating up a big chunk of time
How do you guys approach to completing your tasks which are adjusted to be completed in 40 hours (or whatever amount of time is standard in your company) when 25% of the time goes in meetings and calls only?
Not sure why companies or upper management don't realise the loss of productivity which majorly results into employees being asked to stretch sooner or later.

We start the day with meetings, we end the day with a meeting, and in between there are thousands if not hundreds of "Can we get on a quick call?", "Let's have a meeting to discuss the agendas", "Are you available for a 5 mins meet?",...
