Have you ever seen an "Intern Rocks, Boss shocked" moment at work?
Check what my friend sent me on Instagram. 😂

the real question is, when you have a background to afford a merc @ 21, why come to work?

It’s the Lala philosophy, make your children do some grunt work early in life.

Poverty porn. To see how the rest of the 99% live.

She could've earned it herself. Let's not judge.

Yes exactly! And you should also listen to me.. how i made $4 million dollars with this secret tip. Join my master class and learn how to use your time wisely to buy Mercedes at 21 like me for 399/-.

It should be respected that she choses to work as an intern despite being from a rich family.
If she would have joined as VP (analytics) directly, same people would have called her nepotism product.
Being rich is not wrong, using one's money to climb social ladder is. This woman is clearly doing the right thing. Its not her fault that the person could just buy a Civic after 10 years of work.

@Demon I completely agree with you on this.

she joined as an intern, so that after a 2 years when she joins as a "Director" in her father/husband company she will come on TV/journals and claim how she started her career as an intern. She knows the "struggle" of the common man, There is difference between climbing the mountain everyday for a living and trekking on a weekend.
Am sorry, i do not agree with you. She is not doing a favor that needs to be cherished.

I did engineering form Amity University, quite a few of rich kids used to come there in Mercs Land Rovers etc, most of these are not evil and arrogant dumfucks as the social media has made them look like,
They're normal humans only with good generosity and good heart, just that they happen to have privilege of "family fortunes" doesn't write off their ambition.
People don't even know what the dad has and where the kid has joined to intern, it might very well be possible he has a shoe laces factory, and the kid wants to work in tech but due to xyz reason ended up at some services sweatshop where the TL is also poor AF. (in good tech companies SDE1 have their own xuv700/ safari atleast, been driven in them, lets forget the TL)
I personally have a good relationship with junior who was "rich kid" category whose dad got a LR discovery in college, dad in textile, had interned for a uk startup, kid won't get all the path cleared off if he wants to be at Google or whatever, there's no free achievements in life.
Most of people have genuine desire to do something of their own, the materialistic stuff you is see on them is nothing more than the base level of a family.
Even a non rich parent will provide a Activa for the kid, price of vehicle doesn't entitle naysayers to be in such disgust.
even the 'lath gad dunga' spoilt brat of your avg haryana zameendar wants to do something for himself, not necessarily everyone wants to live by the property rents.
Be kind. Make belive with the reality.

Bhai meri salary 40 h … i still go on a bicycle
Mere coworker ki mujhse kam h definitely and he comes in a 14 lac car because he got 1cr in dowry last month
While i dont really give a shit , because
- I love my bicycle, and the commuting with it keeps me fit. I am athletic and i wont let this job take that from me.
- I save and invest in properties so that i can become HNI
- I dont have generational wealth neither i like to depend on someone else , i will live on what i make.
- Studying 12+4 and still taking dowry ? may as well remain a uncultured swine.
It comes down to principles and how you envision your life.
Lol , a marriage proposal came last week for me where girl was offering 1cr for me. I rejected, one because i am not interested in her money and also because i am gay.
My family will disown someday, what i would be jealous of is a happy family.

Sorry for ranting, I should really not smoke this stuff

Do you have funny/weird internship stories?

Most dramatic quitting story?
I’ll go first. The intern sent ‘bye’ on #general and was never seen again.
