HCL or Amazon?

I'm a 2024 grad. I have two offers in my hand. One is from HCL - Graduate Engineer Trainee (ServiceNow role) - 6LPA and another is Amazon - Transport Specialist - Non IT - 3.6 LPA.

I know you guys would say opt for the highest one. But my point is, I have good technical skills, so I'm thinking about taking the Amazon offer and shifting to a tech role from internal openings within Amazon after some period of time. Kindly provide me the correct path. Also correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.

I'm not sure whether the transition from nonIT to IT is as easy as it seems esp in big orgs.

With a given scenario if you join Amazon, you will regret everyday

Hey I was in the same dilemma 3 years ago. I joined TCS in a tech role vs a substantially better paying non tech role at Amazon. And that really paid off. Now I'm again at Amazon in an L4 tech role. The difference is huge. Go for HCL low paying tech role. L3 to L4 jump is very difficult at amazon especially when you want to switch from tech to non tech roles.

Why go for a non IT role even if it's a big brand? You never know the challenges you may face to shift the role internally.
I'll suggest to take up the ServiceNow role, but only if it's the developer role. I had friends from HCL in ServiceNow as a developer and are now earning well.
