help with invoicing

guys I need help. I'm a newbie freelancer, about to bill my first client for some printables I created for them.

how do I do the invoicing? Can anyone please tell me what all things need to be mentioned there and how do i navigate that because i havent done this before, like -

invoice number about the party issuing the bill - what all do I write? should I mention an address in the contact details? if yes then should it be my residential address? terms and conditions- what do u guys usually write? anything about refund cancelations just to safe uk... for payment should I simply put my upi details? anything else I'm missing?

I am assuming GST invoice.

  1. Invoice number
  2. Your GSTIN
  3. Recipients GSTIN
  4. Invoice date
  5. Customer name
  6. Billing address
  7. Place of supply
  8. HSN
  9. Description of service
  10. GST rate
  11. Terms and conditions (if you wanna put, can be related to payment terms, etc)
  12. If u r a GsT registered person then mentioned registered address
