- Remove the coursework (seems childish)
- Certifications are pointless in 2023
- If at all you put certifications then put below achievements.
- Remove everything where you just took part. Ofcourse there is nonway to verify. You can very well fake these.
- Remove HTML, CSS, SQL, you aren't proficient, i know don't fake it. If I ask you to design a sparkling stars just using html css, you'd fumble.
- Remove git from tools. If I ask you to do git bisect in front of me in the interview will you be able to do it? It's assumed you know basics of git else you'd not have applied for software engineer role.
- Projects are really good, somehow my mind says fake. Can you try to be specific about what exact problem you solved.
For ex: Built text prompt based image generator with open ai that for users of gaming discord server, generates 120 images/second and takes 30ms to generate one.
Format: what--for whom--achived what

Thank you for elaborating mistakes
I want to ask somethings and get clarification-
-
I added coursework because I saw that in resume of my seniors. One of my seniors who got internship in Goldman Sachs and Amazon as summer analyst and software engineer respectively had coursework in their resume.
-
I am still a college student and I do not have experience so I put certifications there to show I did something.
-
If you ask me to design a sparking stars with only HTML, CSS I would hesitate and take time and learn but if you allow me to use Javascript which I am good at I might do it. But as a college student I know HTML and CSS basics so I put that in there. As for SQL I can write and answer all basic queries in MySQL and Oracle SQL.
-
I know only basics of git and could not do git bisect if asked in an interview. I will remove it.
-
Projects are something I put lot of time in it.
If an IT student try and not get any internships what will he/she do in vacations (2 months summer and 1 moth winter) between semesters and free time? CODE.
So I put all my time in projects to improve. So they are not fake. If you ask me entirely everything is unique or new?
No, not everything is new and unique as an student I try to learn new things for example how would I use open ai api in my code I searched and copied code that implemented it. In buckshot project I didn't know how to implement physics in my game I had only an idea so I searched and copied code that allows me to do that.
I would try to be more specific in my projects section.

Dude, I use git daily at work. And even I don’t know what is git bissect. In fact hearing that term for the first time!! What kind of example is that! Folks don’t need to prove having done a PhD in git. Anyway…

How can we point out problems in your resume if you don't share it?

@BrioletteDiamond first of all, your resume doesn't look ATS-friendly. Don't use 2 column layout. Maybe you're not able to clear shortlisting because the ATS auto-rejects your resume.

Many of my seniors and peers have used 2 column layout who got shortlisted but noted. Can you tell me templates which is fresher friendly (without experience column) as I have no experience and looking for it.

Follow a simple resume format. And also the font you should use is DM sans and don’t add too much color or any color except black

Are you targeting Indian companies or international?

Both actually I have applied in various companies both on campus and off campus interships opportunities.
Currently I am looking for some experience wherever I can get.

What is your application process like?

Follow this format.
I’ve had no luck either, after having applied in so many places.
Your best bet is some networking events.
Easy to get through

I have no experience to write in Experience column. If I remove that resume will look empty.

Add a fake competitive coding rank. No one checks that and I have seen those getting shortlisted

And check ATS rank online
