Hi, thanks both for your replies.

Let me answer where i come from:

So my domain is knitted tshirts. I am trying to build a lifestyle brand. We’re soon launching knitted shirts as well. We currently have over 35 SKUs in tshirts and launching 10 SKUs in shirts. This is our pilot year.

We started off with Meta ads and got good response initially. One of our campaigns took off around November and December, the festive time, but now our sales have flattened. We were using advantage+ campaign but then it makes us heavily reliant on meta’s algorithms.

I’m not really able to get good traction when I’m creating custom campaigns (as opposed to advantage+) and that’s where i feel i need help.

I had hired an agency and it just wasted my marketing money and didn’t improve my ROAS.

My current CAC is high at 200+ which is eating my margins.

I am currently using woocommerce with wordpress as it is cheaper than using shopify but then I’m also thinking whether the relatively lesser better user experience (due to not using shopify) is leading to sales loss.

The product quality is very good and the pricing is very competitive. I should ideally get more orders.

The real solution is to not depend on performance marketing for sales buddy.

Meta is too unpredictable. One fine day your account will get blocked for no reason, then you can kiss your cash flow and business goodbye.

Build a good memorable brand, do inbound marketing more than outbound. It will be difficult but a lot more sustainable over time.

How much does your product cost?

Also, 200 CAC for new customers doesn't seem bad if you can get some repeat purchases out of them in the future.

If you feel 200 CAC is unsustainable then you have a margin problem. You go to increase the price of your products or try to increase the AOV by giving a combo offer.

Tell us more about your product.

Your pricing, margin, target audience, daily ad spend, weekly website visits, ad ctr, add to cart rates etc.

A good Performance marketer will go beyond ad optimisation on ad platforms.

IMO the major lever these days are the ad creatives (UGC, Video, GIF), offer and how well your landing page is designed.
