I just had this question in my mind as why the companies hold/delay the salaries to employees and give it back to them after 3-9 days of delay on the new month when the actual salary count is calculated between 1-30/31st of every previous month.
Is there any specific reason?
They don't. Which company is this? Must be a startup with no payroll process.
Is it at all possible? So my current company’s founders have been talking about due diligence for 7 months now. And now they have delayed January salary to February citing due diligence and pause on payments as the reason.

Sounds like a pipe dream. But do companies like this exist?
